Bob Chauncey, PhD, Board Member |
||||
|
When the former sociology professor at Washington College isn’t performing for MOTIVATIONAL THEATRE, Peake Players or Church Hill Theatre, he is working with city planners across the nation as an official of the National Center for Bicycling and Walking to encourage healthy living and engage youth in community development projects. On stage he’s played major roles in “Bus Stop,” “Dial M for Murder,” and “The Odd Couple.” He says portraying Gallagher in “My Black Bird Has Flown Away” has given him a keen appreciation of challenges faced by persons with disabilities in an able bodied world.
